    Non Flour Pancakes (Banana, Oats & Almond Milk)

    If you are one of those people that are constantly looking for healthier ways to incorporate to your lifestyle, this is a must do recipe. Whether you are satisfying "bad carbs" cravings or just giving a  twist to your everyday's postworkout meal, this delicious and nutricious recipe does it all for you.

    INGREDIENTS

    2 cups old fashioned oats

    1 cup vanilla almond milk (or any kind you like)

    1 large smashed banana

    1/2 tbsp. ground cinnamon

    1 Tbsp. honey

    a pinch of salt

    1 tbsp. vanilla extract

    1 1/2 tbsp baking powder

    1 egg

    Coconut oil for cooking.

    Maple syrup.

     INSTRUCTIONS

    Mix all ingredients together. Heat a saute pan over medium heat and cook pancakes with coconut oil. Serve with maple syrup. 

     

    *WARNING. What I love the most about this recipe is the texture that oats brings. I think it makes pancakes chunkier and fluffier, but if you are not a fan of this, you can always blend all ingredients together until nice and smooth, this way you can hardly tell there's oats in it.
