It seems that last week's Healthy Nutella recipe wasn't chocolaty enough 'cause here I am again bringing to you another sweet chocoate treat!
Smoothie bowls are super trendy on Instagram, I've seen so many beautiful, creative styles I just couldn't resist to try my own ! The great thing is that you can create any combo flavors you like and then top it with your favorite fruits and other crunchy things. What I love the most about Smoothie Bowls is that they're so satisfying. Perfect for breakfast or a post workout treat or snack!
You can top your bowl with pretty much anything. Nuts, seeds, cereals, dried fruit all work well. TIP: If you want to make a pretty design, add the heaviest ingredients last.
1 cup almond milk 1 large bananas 1 cup ice 2 Tbsp almond butter 1 Tbsp cocoa powder splash of vanilla extract 1 Tbsp agave nectar
Toppings 2 Tbsp cocoa nibs or dark chocolate roughly chopped 2 Tbsp granola 2 Tbsp chopped almonds
1/2 banana sliced
In a blender mix almond milk, 1 banana, ice, almond butter, agave nectar, cocoa powder and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and top with the cocoa nibs or chopped dark chocolate, granola, chopped almonds, and banana slices.
