I love this recipe! it's so quick, easy and tasty. Perfect to enjoy at home or even on the go.
Chia seeds are a great source of antioxidants, fiber and Omega-3 Fatty Acid, all that with very few calories. There's a lot of ways to incorporate Chia seed in your diet and here's a delicious option.
First of all you want to soak them in water. 1/4 cup of chia seeds to 1 cup of liquid. They need to soak for at least 20 minutes but you can also leave them in the fridge overnight.
Once they have doubled their size, you'll get a sort of pudding texture.
To make a parfait I like to flavor it with 2 Tbsp almond milk and maple syrup.
You can almost soak them in almond milk (or any kind you like), not just water. Then stir and serve in a glass.Finally add you favorite fruit or nut topping!
